Choices in Sustainable Living – A Friends of Tifft Event

This interactive program will delve deeply into how each of us
can reduce our own “carbon footprint” which adds to the
Earth’s warming. We will explore the meanings of sustainability,
consider the ties between our lifestyle choices and learn how we
can start to take steps to move towards a more Earth friendly
lifestyle. We will have fun learning with hands-on activities.
Take away material will also be provided. $5 per person
(Teens and Adults only). Space is limited and registration is
required.

Spring Has Arrived!

Spring has finally come and we are noticing a lot of
activity on Tifft Nature Preserve.

If your looking for something fun to do, join us for the
following events at Tifft:

Spring Egg-stravaganza on Friday, April 6, from 10am- 2pm.
Drop in for an egg-stremely fun time at Tifft Nature Preserve!
Learn about animals that come from eggs, make some spring-
themed crafts, dye eggs using natural dyes (dye provided,
please bring your own hard-boiled eggs: 6 eggs per person
maximum) and more! Non-members: $7.

Learn to Bird (a Friends of Tifft Event) on Sunday,
April 15, from 2-4 pm. The Audubon Society has designated
Tifft as an "Important Bird Area", so what better place to
learn to bird than at Tifft? Join an experienced birder as they
teach you ways to identify birds by sights and sounds. $3
person; $10 maximum per family. Free for FOT members.
