Join us Saturday August 27th from 8-10 PM as we explore the darkness of the new moon and search for crepuscular and nocturnal inhabitants of the preserve including deer, beavers, and bats. From 9:30 - 10:00PM a special program will take place to celebrate International Bat Night with licensed biologists from Ecology and Environment, Inc. conducting a bat survey of the preserve. Participants will safely observe bat mist netting and learn more about the importance of bats and threats that they face. Non-members: $5. Space is limited. Please call 825-6397.
